DusQ® 3 azide is a highly reactive derivative for labeling alkyne-containing molecules in copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC) reactions. DusQ 3 azide is suitable for FRET-based probes for the in vivo detection and imaging.

DusQ 3 is typically used to quench in the range 620-730 nm, it is highly recommended as a quencher with red- or far-red-emitting rhodamine or cyanine dyes, such as Cyanine 5, Cyanine 5.5, AF 647.
