PreciseGreen is a DNA-binding benzothiazole dye. This reagent is a 200× solution in DMSO. The dye is a fluorescent sensor that is specific for double-stranded DNA (dsDNA). Its absorption and emission in the fluorescein channel can be easily detected using cuvette fluorometers, well plate readers, and dedicated DNA measurement fluorometers.

The dye exhibits a linear response of fluorescence to dsDNA concentrations in the range of low pg/mL to high ng/mL. The ready kit, including quantification dye, is also available.
