Annexin V (or Annexin A5) belongs to the phospholipid-binding Annexin family of intracellular proteins. In flow cytometry and fluorescent microscopy, Annexin V is commonly used to detect apoptotic cells by its ability to specifically bind to phosphatidylserine, which migrates from the inner to the outer leaflet of the plasma membrane during the early stages of apoptosis.

Annexin V protein can be used for inhibiting the procoagulant and proinflammatory activities of the apoptotic cells. It also can be labeled with fluorescent dye using one of our Protein Labeling Kits. This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus and can be recognized with Anti-His Tag Antibodies.

Alkyne maleimide

Maleimide reagent for the attachment of alkyne functional group to proteins, peptides, and other molecules bearing SH (thiol) groups, including cysteine residues.

DBCO-PEG6-NHS ester

A heterobifunctional linker with DBCO and NHS ester function groups flanking PEG6 (hexaethylene glycol).

THPTA ligand

THPTA is a water-soluble ligand for Cu(I)-catalyzed click chemistry. The ligand stabilizes copper in its Cu(I) oxidation state. Due to high aqueous solubility, reactions with this ligand do not require an organic co-solvent.
