Phosphate CPG 500 v2 allows direct preparation of oligonucleotides with a 3’-phosphate group.
The sulfone linker is one of the linkers employed for the preparation of oligonucleotides, it releases the oligonucleotide 3’-phosphate by β-elimination upon ammonolysis.
Available in different pore sizes, Phosphate CPG 500 v2 with pore size of 500 Å is recommended for the synthesis of oligonucleotides up to 30 bases.
For synthesis longer oligonucleotides 1000 Å CPG can be used.
Usage
Coupling: identical to normal protected nucleoside support.
Deprotection: identical to protected nucleobases.
